Soooo. I just read When Red Meets Violet. And now I’m sobbing and laughing and am just a mess. How do you do that? I don’t usually read genderbent fics, but I understand why you made Prussia a girl in this one. You’re an amazing writer, and if you don’t become an author one day, I’ll be really disappointed <3

Yeah, haha. When I first started writing, I had no choice but to write genderbent characters because someone in my household is really homophobic. My later genderbent stories use a female lead on purpose. I wanted to express and explore certain topics such as abortion, slut shaming, victim blaming, and rape culture.

Later on, I just said screw it and was able to write the characters as their original genders. I don’t regret the decision at all even if it is risky. All that person knows is that I write online stories. I just have to be careful where and when I write, unfortunately.
