I hope you never stop writing, Ella. You deserve a lot more recognition and I know it gets you down and all but it doesn’t mean you’re not any good. Your stories have helped me through a lot, especially through some tough times last year.

This. This. I needed this like you wouldn’t believe, what timing. Just yesterday I contemplated stopping altogether because someone I hold close told me to. I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t still considering it.

Thing is, I know if I stop writing, then more authors are going to follow my example and drop the fandom. I’m stubborn, and I really don’t want that to happen. It’s just a bit discouraging at times. It really kills your motivation.
