Ella. Please. Tell me your secret. HOW DO YOU WRITE SO PERFECTLY? also dude sorry I haven’t been posting on FF, I’m v e r y discouraged by my writing, I got exams, and I have to handle an ask blog. B l e a s e give me advice.

Okay, first. Shh! I’ve told you before that I wouldn’t be reading your stories if I didn’t like them 🙂 And secondly, ah. Dude, I still cringe at my own writing; it’s the curse of all writers and their crippling perfectionism.

But, as for advice? Practice. I understand that I’m not like most writers; that is, on any day I can write 10k words even if I’m not in the mood. But, if you get yourself into a routine of writing something multiple days a week, your writing will inevitably get better, that’s a guarantee. Another thing that helps is to keep a journal beside you when you’re reading. Picking up on different vocabulary is a sure way for improvement. Um… I like to chew gum when I write too. It helps you concentrate.

Balancing school, blogs, and fics is hard. It takes a lot of dedication and organization. I wake up at 5:00 AM every day, and go to bed at around 1:00 AM. Of course, I’m psycho with my routine, but it’s good to pace yourself and not feel bad if you don’t get around to posting your content.

If it makes you feel any better go read snippets of my first story “The Princess and the Brit” and compare it to my more recent works. Again. Practice. That story though. It’s so fucking bad I just can’t. It’s not even romance; it’s pure humor at this point. AND PEOPLE ARE STILL READING IT.

Hi! I was wondering about your reading preferences… do you read only shippy stories, or also gen? And are there some ships you absolutely cannot read (not asking which ones, I don’t want to start any war…)? Since you do promotions, what do you do when you’re suggested a story you don’t like? Do you tell the sumitter, or still promove it? Sorry, this is quite random, I’m just curious… anyway, have a great day!

Lately, I’m not reading anything shippey (or anything at all due to school) because I’ve found that the quality of fics have gone down. Most of the older authors have left, and the length of the existing fics are too short given how young (I’m talking 11-12) the authors are. Admittedly, there are 14-15 year old authors out there that are better than me xD

My favourite fics are historically based, and the shipping comes second as a bonus. I actually love non-shipper stories if there’s enough action and character development. I’ve always preferred it over romance, but in this fandom I’ve catered to what everyone wants. For the longest time, I wanted to write a horror story, but I don’t really see it happening.

Honestly, I’m not really interested in fics with chapters shorter than 3000 words, but if recommended, I will read and give my review. The shipping question is something you can message me about if you really want to know. I message both the submitter and the author, but I keep who the submitter is private unless told otherwise. Thanks for stopping by, and all the best 🙂
