I just finished reading the last chapter of WRMV and I cried. You did such an incredible job on it, you choose to discuss such an important topic, something that not many would have had the courage to do. It is definitely one of my favorite stories, and I loved every bit of it. I have a question though, was there any scene of your story that you liked the most?

Hello hello 😀 Oh no, sorry to make you cry! Although, I was pretty evil during the story, leaving off the chapters on several cliffhangers 😉 Yes, writing about the topic still makes me nervous, but it needed to be done, and I had some experience to draw on.

As for my favorite scene? I really liked the last scene, (not going to describe it because spoilers :p). Well, it was either that, or when Liza and Gillian got into a fist fight. That was pretty fun to write. Oh! I also loved the scene where Matt teased Gillian in the restaurant. Heck, the entire story was fun to write, and I’ll always look back on it fondly. Thanks a million for taking the time to tell me this, it means the world to me 🙂 Have a great day/night.

Kay bud I’m gonna be honest here or same something I don’t even know bro. Giving opinions on fics, even if you don’t like it much give a bit of encouragement. It makes people who write really really happy, and it can give you a feeling of satisfaction too. Same thing with reblogging art, it feels so nice for both sides to reblog art and comment on it. So I encourage that. kinda a rant though sorry bud. Now that I think about it it makes no sense to send this but eh. (Why I went on anon ha)

YES! I’m actually very guilty of doing that. I just went through a one-shot fic spree yesterday :p Once a week, I go through the update page and find new authors with one-shots between 1k-5k words.

I pick out ten, or less depending on the length, and then read them through and leave a fairly large review. I pick out the good things they did. Since I hate hurting people’s feelings, especially since it’s easy for someone to misinterpret criticism, or even just be embarrassed by it, I PM them the other half of the criticism and offer any advice if they ask. I implore for everyone else to do something like this too.

You get so many happy PM’s back, and if it makes someone’s day, why not take the extra minute to review? There are real people behind those screens – it’s never a pleasant feeling to be ignored.

I wouldn’t have continued writing had I not gotten any responses. I was a real crappy writer when I first started, but once I got reactions from others, it motivated me to keep writing, to practice, and to eventually become somewhat good at it.

I don’t think people realize this, but once the fanfiction community goes, the fandom loses its whole foundation. That’s why it’s so crucial to go and start reading stories again, especially long-length multi-chapters.

As for reblogging and commenting on art, I totally agree with that too 🙂 I’m hella busy, but I do plan to make a side blog and comment on people’s art/ reblog. I’m not well versed in art (and am biased as a fic writer), but it’s pretty easy to say that you like something 😀

This made perfect sense, so no worries, friend. I’m glad you took the time to write this 🙂

HEY OKAY i saw your thing on the hetalia fandom and it really like, ht me really hard because it’s just so?? uplifting and supportive and hopeful and im so glad you wrote it. the english-speaking hetalia fandom used to be so big, yeah!! additionally it’s where a big part of the western fandom is based, and therefore irreplaceable and valuable because of its perspective just as much as the other fandom parts and just thank you for writing that post and also thank u for this blog and its content

Oh, you’re so very welcome, anyone could have said it 🙂 Yes, It hits me really hard when I see that great content goes unsupported because then those people won’t know that they have talent! It’s important to let people know because they could very easily get discouraged and stop; then we could be missing out on our next big author, animator, and who knows what else! True, very true, most of my readers are either American, British, or Canadian :p

Ah yes, making cringy memes…Oh gosh. I’m glad you like them though lmao. Thanks so much for taking the time to send me this ask. I’m smiling like a total dork right now 😀
