Hi! I don’t want to sound rude or anything, but I really love your works (especially your later writing! Wow! You’ve improved so much!) and was wondering if you would be continuing them? I want to read this one story, but I’m hesitant to commit ya know?

Thank you for your interest, and no worries. Yes! I will be continuing the three main ongoing stories that I have. I’m so sorry for how long it’s been since I last updated. 

I’m heading into the final year of my degree this fall, so I have a lot to sort out! I’m also possibly doing a student placement with the RCMP and have to worry about interviews/ undergoing an extensive security check. 

Anyways, I plan to be finished all three of my WIPs by the end of June. Once my free time opens up, updates will come very fast. I plan to make the first updated chapters close to 20,000 words to make up for my long absence 🙂

Hi! Ever thought of making a sort of “meta” page to link to all your different series? Like a place where you post all the links for Songtalias, or a place where you do the Psychtalias? I love your blog so much, but I can’t always remember the exact name of an analysis post I want to go back and look at. Thanks!

I’m working on a directory, but it’s been delayed because I’m in the middle of exams right now. For now, you can search up ‘psych-talia’, ‘mysteries of hetalia’, ‘shipping series’, serial kill-talia,’ ‘guide’, and ‘characterization in hetalia’ in the tags. I’ve tagged them accordingly underneath each post 🙂

Side note: I’m also really sorry for how bad I’ve been for keeping up with my ask box. I have 400+ requests now. Sometimes I get opinion questions that take me time to muster over. People say “quick question” but it’s not lol. I want to answer them to the best of my ability and really commit to it. 

Other times, I get questions that while I don’t personally find them controversial, it steps into waters that I’m not keen on treading on in this blog. I can’t always anticipate how people are going to react. I do mention this in my ask guidelines too…

That said, if you want to discuss topics like that, I would prefer that you PM me. Just know that I see and treasure all asks. Your engagement and kind words are immensely appreciated. 

Very random question I guess, but do you prefer to be referred to as Ariella or Ella? Or something else entirely? (explanation behind this: you usually tag yourself as ‘ella’, but you have ‘ariella’ in the blog description and you actually tagged yourself like that in one of your last memes. And this is just to call you with the name you’re most comfortable with in the future…)

I’m fine with both fam. Ella was created as an online nickname, while I go as Ariella in person. You could literally call me bitch nugget and I’d still be happy that you remembered my existence.

💖  You guys are too good to me I swear. I know it sucks that it takes me a while to respond to your asks, but I really do try my best to get to them all. I want you to know that I unequivocally appreciate your engagement and take great lengths to record and keep track of them. 

It makes me happy that you guys are taking something from these posts. I aim to make people think about links between canon information. And YES! Strips will always take precedence as a primary source of material. You NEVER use the anime as a source.

Of course, I can’t answer some asks given that the information presented is misleading and/or incorrect.  This is especially the case if I’ve proved otherwise in a separate post. 

However, you’re always free to message me. I’ll happily link you to the correct source information; I just don’t have time to constantly correct misconceptions that I’ve already covered/ misconceptions that could be easily fixed with a simple google search.

That said, welcome back to those of you who are new here. @atrellis It always helps to have a notebook if you want to get your thoughts down. You should definitely try writing! It gets easier with practice 🙂

Thank you! I’d highly recommend reading as much of the manga as you can. It’s rich and full of depth. The problem is that people often mistake the anime as an accurate portrayal of the material. It’s not!!!! That’s why I have to do these characterization posts…

The characters are all complex and multi-dimensional. The fact that I can love a dislikeable character reveals so much brilliance on the part of Hima’s characterization.
