What do you mean Mathew puts up with your OCD tendencies haha?

I’ll give an example lol. Major germophobe here.

So, I live in my Dad’s basement. We have very different standards of cleanliness. I take sponges to walls, meanwhile my Dad thinks it’s okay to use body soap to wash your hands. Suffice to say, I help keep the upstairs clean but it’s not up to the insane standards of my room.

When Mathew came over for the first time, I made him drive to the Dollarama with me to pick up a pair of flip-flops for him to walk upstairs with. I then forced him into wearing a pair of fuzzy wool socks to wear only in my room. Every time he went upstairs he had to change from the socks to the flip-flops.

I have never seen such a look of defeat on a person lmao.

@yourpikapikastuff That exact logic is what decimated Napoleon’s army. You don’t mess with Russia ever, especially if it’s during the winter.

Anon: It’s so easy to find! Just type in “Hetalia webcomic” and you’ll spot Hetarchive/ Hetascanlations as the top search. I source them in all my posts.

But yes! The anime represents like 15% of the total content (even then, they curate what parts of the strips they do use), so I would highly recommend reading the full strips 🙂 Oh. Oh my. There is no chronological order to reading them lmao, save for the printed volumes.

@fruk-de-lys Thanks, my dude ❤ Hope everything is well on your end 🙂

Thank you! And yes! I’m pretty strict on that. If you’re going to form a counter, back up your claim with the strips. Floating claims are the biggest perpetrator of misconceptions in the fandom. Every conclusion has to be linked to a strip. It doesn’t mean that it’s a truth per say (only Himaruya can confirm that), but it lends more credibility to your argument.

Side note: I know this is in my ask guidelines (but most of you don’t read them lol), but if I’ve already answered a question regarding a theory/ counter, I don’t answer asks that brings it up again.

I have a post directory with all my post links attached. Just like a researcher has to look through existing literature on their topic, I expect those who form their counters to look through what has already been said. I just don’t think it’s fair for me to constantly re-answer something that I’ve already explained + it gets redundant for those who have already read these thoughts.

However, if you touch on something that I’ve already explained and raise a question about my thought process/ conclusions, that’s when I’ll be more than happy to elaborate/ back up my claim further.

You’re welcome? Why are we in all caps here lol?

That’s extremely flattering, but Pewds reviews trending memes. My memes aren’t worthy!  Personally, I’m more of a Pew News kinda girl 😉

You can send an ask off anon, and I can answer it privately, or you can DM me. Or neither if you’re not feeling up to it. It’s really your choice, but the options are there 🙂

You didn’t ramble and tysm! <3333 I’m so glad that you’ve been able to enjoy yourself here.

One: The meme where Canadians
write their exams in empty hockey rinks is actually a photo taken from Uottawa,
my university. Most of my first year exams were written there lmao.

Two: During class presentations, I usually buy Timbits/
donuts from Timmies for everyone.

Thank you, but we
bicker and roast each other more than anything now. He gets so annoyed with me
OwO

First anon: It doesn’t come off as rude, no worries. Pssst. It’s okay to have a different opinion!

I’m just a bit confused by your conclusion. I’ll explain mine below, although I have gone into more depth about this in several England-centric posts. Popularity isn’t a shield against hate but rather a beacon.

Second anon: When you send an ask like that, it would be helpful if you explained why you think that way. You didn’t provide me with another character.

Guys, anyone who knows me will know that I’m a major England fan. I don’t have to state it for it to be obvious. I’ve been in the fandom for several years and this is what I have consistently observed:

Aside from ships/ anti-ship blogs, I’ve noticed that most anti-character blogs are about England. For the most part, they either criticize him because he’s popular “he’s overrated,” his rude comments, or his poor job at raising America. Again, I’ve covered this all before [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]

Across fandoms, there’s a tendency in which characters that are the most popular accumulate the most flack and scrutiny.

Thank you!

Uh…I’m probably not the best person to give you advice on this. I choose UOttawa because it meant that I would save money and not have to live out. Meanwhile, a lot of people recommend that you move out to experience living on your own.

It’s really up to the person but I wasn’t about to spend an extra 10 grand a year just for living and food expenses. I also chose the university (over Carleton, the other uni in Ottawa) because it’s average acceptance requirements were higher and that my program offered a field placement option. Honestly, if your GPA is high enough, it doesn’t matter where you get your undergrad from. Work and relevant volunteer experience are more of an asset.

I’m not 100% sure where you’re coming from, so what I’m saying may not even be useful to you (e.g., the US, because I know that universities are privately run, unlike in Canada where they’re public institutions). Academic cultures differ, so that would be where you would have to do more research to better inform your decision.

❤ Yeeeee buddy. Tysm.

Thanks aren’t necessary but exactly what you just did! Your support is what keeps this blog going 🙂

Don’t poke a bat at a wasp’s nest, anon. I told him to be nice, but he didn’t listen.

Mathew: No, we’re just different. We stand out more than your normal regular ass.

2p! Canada confirmed.
