Not yet. I want to finish my four ongoing fics before spring. Thing is, I’d like to go back to writing one or two stories at a time so I can update weekly/ every two weeks instead of rotating between long periods of time 🙂 However…

I intend to make my RusAme Super Hero one-shot a multi-chapter and write/ complete it over the summer.

I’m also debating on whether to create a FrUK zombie apocalypse multi-chapter!

One thing I liked that you emphasized in your assessment of the fandom is the dependency on the content you consume. Especially because there are always things like fanart and roleplaying, where you create the content you’d like to see. Honestly it seems like many people in the fandom have created their own little part of the show with personally developed versions of the characters, like that one risorgimento Italy blog.

I’m considering rejoining the fandom, but part of the reason I left it years ago was because of how toxic the fandom became. A lot of the blogs I used to follow aren’t around anymore so what’s the atmosphere like in the hetalia fandom right now?

How I look at it is that you choose what content you want to consume within a fandom. I honestly could care less what other people think about the fandom because of its reputation. What you do is not a reflection of that. Right now, we have a major problem with plagiarism, but not so much bullies like before. There’s also lots of accusations being thrown around with incest and pedophilia, some of which does exist and is inevitably problematic, but there are times when the label is being wrongly applied. Again, since the fandom has dropped, the sexualization of minors hasn’t been as much of a problem.

Okay, let me take a second here to say THANK YOU to my
absolutely wonderful followers for wishing me a happy birthday. It’s really
made my day, especially considering that I’m writing a massive research paper
on the occasion.

This really just shows what the Hetalia fandom is truly about:
support. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be so motivated to make daily content.
(Still don’t know how I’m managing oops). My wish this year is for us all to be
more supportive of each other. The fandom doesn’t have to grow for us to remain a strong family/community, and today’s reminded me just how amazing we as a group of people can be
