The FCC may have just repealed
Net Neutrality, but it hasn’t gone through the courts.
Congress has 60 working days
to review and overrule the FCC’s decision. KEEP CALLING your representatives.
It doesn’t matter if you’re American
or not. This affects literally EVERYONE. Fandoms as we know it will be crushed
without an open internet.
More importantly, access to certain websites and
information should NOT be a COMMODITY. It is a RIGHT.
This
is a blatant violation of Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right
includes freedom to hold opinions without
interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
