A year back when I uploaded a RusAme one-shot to tumblr for
the first time, I was shocked to find that three people had already liked the
post within the first five minutes. To give context, three follows/ favourites
a week was standard on ff.net.
Given that it was 9000 words, it would have been impossible
for them to have finished reading it. It’s the fact that they liked it just because they wanted
to support me which was incredibly moving and uplifting.

I’m still not sure if I have enough information to do a full characterization post on her. There’s very scarce details on her in comparison to other characters. I would also be lying if I said that most of character boiled down to its core doesn’t relate back to her obsession with Russia. That’s how she’s been characterized, unfortunately.
However, I can do a post outlining why she’s anything but a psychopath, let alone someone with Antisocial personality disorder.

One time in grade 12, my friend and I got lost on a mountain
during a field trip. We were so far off the trail that we had to be rescued by
a park ranger with a zipline. By the time we made it back to the tour bus,
everyone started clapping really loudly to commend us for how fucking stupid we
were.
I’ll never forget receiving a call from my geography
teacher.
Me: Hello?
Him: Ariella?! Are you with Jasmine?
Me: Yeah, why?
Him: THE WHOLE TOUR BUS HAS BEEN WAITING FOR AN HOUR.
Me: Oh…
Him: Where
are you?!
Me: I don’t know? We just found a waterfall with a set of swings nearby. I guess we lost track of time…

Him: *incoherent Greek swearing*

time we visited the aquarium*
Four years later and
he still mocks me about this on Facebook.

Germany over fashion [x].
France offers to be there for Germany, only to
bolt when it comes to EU matters with Greece [x].
They console each other like a de facto couple
when England leaves the EU [x].

It’s very difficult with school and work. I have burned out several times, but I’ve found a way around it, even though I’m still sleep-deprived ¾ of the time haha. I change things up by writing different series on the blog.
I’m also looking forward to graduation.
As I’m sure most of you know already, when you’re a student, you’re working more than full-time. It’s your day and night job. You don’t get to shut off. So I guess in a way this blog and participating in the Hetalia fandom and engaging with wonderful people lets me clock off for a bit… I just have so many ideas that I don’t have time for, so this will have to do for now 😀

It’s really…fascinating. There’s just so much to do with it.
I’ve branched out to other similar websites. It’s no longer
just about my current research project. I genuinely think this is something I want
to do my Masters on, and I know exactly which graduate professor I would want
as my supervisor. Let’s see if I can afford another two years 😀

It’s both. The glasses in Hetalia often have multiple functions.
Austria wears them to avoid looking plain + they represent his musical something.

England drinks too much and consumes too much sweets. America eats too much fast food, partakes in extreme diets, and workouts out to the extreme. Spain gets violent when he’s drunk. China once got addicted to video games.
